Choose the minimum length of an overnight break, when to stop new trades, and when to start closing open trades. The weekly schedule uses your symbol's trading hours in broker server time. Your device must be online with an up-to-date Hookmode desktop app to read the hours and save the guard. Guarded rules show a Session guard badge. Pausing, archiving or deleting one with open trades asks for confirmation because the guard will no longer close them. The guard uses the broker's reported schedule; it does not anticipate holidays or early closes. Closing trades still depends on your device and broker. Read trading hours from MetaTrader 5 through the SessionBridge program: The desktop app installs the Hookmode SessionBridge expert advisor automatically. Terminals it starts open an H1 chart with the program attached, including when you open a terminal from the desktop app. The chart starts with EURUSD. If that symbol is unavailable, Hookmode can restart the terminal once with a symbol from Market Watch. Get a Telegram alert when the session guard skips a signal or closes trades: "Session guard skipped a signal" identifies the portfolio, account, webhook and rule, with the break's start and end in server time. "Session guard closing trades" shows how many trades were sent for closing, how long before the break, and when it starts. Both alerts are on by default and can be turned off in Settings. See in Activity why a rule skipped a signal: Activity now shows signals skipped because of a drawdown limit or session break, with the webhook, symbol, account and reason. Session guard close attempts appear under the Trades filter. Reset daily loss limits at midnight on the broker's clock: The day resets at 00:00 server time, so there is no reset timezone to choose. The account page shows the reset time and UTC offset, such as UTC+3. Until the desktop app reports the broker's clock, the reset uses midnight UTC. Existing daily loss blocks were cleared once when this change was applied. The daily loss guides on hookmode.com now explain this reset. Trigger and close trades in one tap, without a confirmation: Turn on "One tap trade actions" under Trade actions in Settings to skip confirmation for Trigger and Close in a webhook's actions menu and Trigger buttons on its details page. These controls show a bolt icon while the mode is on. The setting is off by default and applies across browsers in your workspace. Compare balance and equity curves on the Accounts page: Account rows now show balance and equity curves, with one date range control for the whole page. A message explains when a range has too little history. These curves have moved from Home to Accounts. Read a simpler Home page built around the webhook leaderboard: The rule leaderboard has been removed. The webhook leaderboard now shows which portfolios use each webhook. Select the portfolio count to see its rules, or see when no portfolio uses the webhook. Know what to do when a webhook sends fewer trades than expected: The warning links to the webhook and suggests checking that the TradingView alert still fires or updating the expected trade count. Select "View example" to follow the calculation for each allowed side: quantity, risk factor, lot size and rounding to the broker's lot step. Read the same Buy and Sell wording on every screen: Webhook switches now read "Allow buy trades" and "Allow sell trades". Position summaries, rule previews, calculation examples and the getting-started guide use the same terms. Restart every MetaTrader 5 terminal with one action: Select "Restart all terminals" in the desktop app's MT5 bridge settings menu. The confirmation shows how many terminals will restart. Open positions stay with the broker, but syncing and trading stop until the terminals return. The action is unavailable when no account is running. Open an info button beside a field to learn what its value does: Info buttons beside Drawdown limit, Quantity and Lot size explain how each value works. They cover drawdown from a rule's closed-trade peak, the effect of its hard stop, asset units, the risk factor and units per lot. Read clearer form labels, section names and error messages: Stop loss and take profit fields now say they accept distances. Webhook sections are named "Drawdown" and "Backtest expectations", and the rule switch reads "Stop opening trades at the drawdown limit". Create buttons name the portfolio, rule or webhook. The risk statistic is labelled "Risk/reward", validation messages state what to enter, and setup errors identify the Hookmode desktop app or MetaTrader 5 terminal involved. Read the backtest statistic under the name Recovery factor: It shows expected profit divided by the drawdown limit. The calculation and colour bands are unchanged. See the next step in a portfolio that has no rules yet: An empty portfolio shows its Create rule button. Performance figures and the Projected vs actual P&L chart appear after you add a rule. For example, 25 on XAUUSD means 25 ounces, and 100000 on EURUSD means one standard lot. Alert bodies now use quantity. Turn on "Allow quantity override" to send the quantity from TradingView with {{strategy.order.contracts}}. Existing webhooks keep their previous trade quantity. Read lot size, lot step and minimum volume directly from your broker: Choose a trading account and enter its broker's symbol to read the lot size, lot step and minimum volume automatically. For example: 1 lot = 100,000 units, lot step 0.01, minimum volume 0.01 lots. Your device needs an up-to-date Hookmode desktop app, and the values must be available before the rule can be saved. If the read fails, the form shows the reason and a Try again button. Hookmode multiplies quantity by the risk factor, divides by the lot size and rounds to the broker's lot step. Rule previews highlight volumes below the broker's minimum, and those trades are not sent. Scale a rule with the Risk factor, the former Volume factor: The value and behaviour are unchanged. It scales the webhook's quantity, drawdown limit and expected profit for the rule. A value of 1 keeps the tested settings; 0.5 halves the quantity, drawdown budget and expected profit. The new name appears in rule forms, account rule tables, webhook portfolio details and on the website. See small trade volumes with the precision they need: Volumes now keep the precision they need across trade tables, open positions, Activity, trace pages, rule previews and Telegram. For example, 0.005 lots no longer displays as 0.01 lots. Read shorter, clearer Telegram messages across every alert: Trade alerts lead with the action and trade details, such as "🟢 Opened a trade: XAUUSD Buy, 0.10 lots". MetaTrader 5 converts stop loss and take profit distances using the broker's symbol data, and Hookmode sets the slippage tolerance automatically. Fill the price movement cost from your broker, since replaced by lot size reads: This release added "Fetch from broker" beside the price movement cost field. It filled the value from the symbol's lot size and explained failed reads, including an offline or busy device, an unknown symbol or a timeout. On 2026-09-07, automatic lot size reads replaced this field and action. Read used, booked and remaining drawdown around the bar: Account and portfolio pages show the used and booked amounts above the drawdown bar, with the remaining amount below. Portfolios with multiple currencies show a separate bar for each currency. See how much of an account balance your rules put at risk: The account page combines the active rules' drawdown limit and its share of the account balance in one tile, with a percentage, bar and amounts such as $500.00 / $10,000.00. If the balance has not synced, the tile shows a hyphen and explains why. Check for a desktop app update whenever you want one: The settings menu shows progress while checking and downloading. When an update is ready, it shows the version and an "Update now" action that restarts the app to install it. Find the desktop app version in the header: The current version appears beside the Hookmode title in the header. Spot a rule volume that rounds to zero before you save it: The rule preview highlights 0.00 lots and identifies the affected buy or sell side before you save.
