Getting started with Hookmode

Hookmode is a Windows desktop application that receives TradingView webhook alerts and places the trades in MetaTrader 5 on the trader’s own computer. It is not an Expert Advisor and does not need a VPS.

One path from “I have an AI-assisted Pine Script strategy” to a test alert, a trace, and guardrails. Five steps.

What you need

• A Windows 10 or 11 PC that stays on.
• MetaTrader 5 installed on that PC, logged in to your broker at least once.
• A TradingView account on the Essential plan or above, with two-factor authentication turned on.
• A beta invitation. To join the waitlist, you only need an email; you create a Hookmode account after you are invited.

What happens to your password

You type the broker password on your own PC, and it stays there. Windows encrypts it. Our servers keep the account nickname, the broker server and the login. Never the password.

Not an EA

Hookmode is not an Expert Advisor. There is no file attached to a chart. The desktop app talks to the MetaTrader 5 terminal directly and runs it for you, in the background.
