Step 1: Create your account

Hookmode is a Windows desktop application that receives TradingView webhook alerts and places the trades in MetaTrader 5 on the trader’s own computer. It is not an Expert Advisor and does not need a VPS.

Before you start: You need a beta invitation. Sign-up without an invitation redirects to hookmode.com/waitlist.

    Open the invitation email. It comes from Clerk, our sign-in provider, titled “Waitlist invitation”. Follow the accept link and create your account at app.hookmode.com.

    The first screen is Home. The navigation shows Home, Trades, Signals, Portfolios, Webhooks and Accounts, plus Devices and Settings under Manage. The Finish setup checklist on the page walks the same path as this guide: pair a device, create a webhook, create a portfolio with rules, place the first trade.

    Every user gets one workspace. There is nothing to configure here. Continue with the desktop app.

If something goes wrong

  • Invitation link expired: Reply to the invitation email and ask for a new one.
